Technical Education
The North High Technical Education department is run by dedicated and energetic faculty. We work great as a team and each has a specialty discipline. We take pride in our professions and our facilities, exercising life-long learning and continuous improvement to be able to offer our students potential college credits and industry credentials in various courses of study. Opportunities such as Haas CNC certification in the Advanced Metals Manufacturing course, college credit with Lakeshore College, UWGB credit through a PLTW course or an NC3 Snap-on certification in Hand Tools or Advanced MultiMeters in Electricity Electronics & Automation course.
Our Advanced Technology Center built in 2016 thanks to the Red Raider Manufacturing Team of school and industry partners features up-to-date technology such as Haas CNC machines, Fanuc robots, Industrial controls, Heavy metal fabrication equipment and advanced welders. The ATC also houses our Red Raider Robotics teams creating opportunities for budding engineers and business professionals as they design, build and program a competition task oriented robot.
