Forensics

Forensics is the art of competitive speaking, acting, and interpretation of literature. Sheboygan North competes as part of the Wisconsin Forensic Coaches' Association (WFCA) and it is a charter member of the National Speech and Debate Association (NSDA). Students can choose to compete in nearly 20 categories related to public speaking. The team competes weekly from January to April for individual and team awards. Students who participate in forensics gain an appreciation for effective communication, teamwork, sportsmanship, interpersonal skills, writing, and literature. Students are also eligible for exclusive scholarships and national merit recognition.
